Delta Executor Error Code 268: Why You Got Kicked and How to Fix It (2026)
Last updated: October 20, 2026 | Current version: Delta Executor v2.743
You are mid game, script running smooth, and suddenly you are staring at a kick screen with “Error Code 268.” No warning, no countdown, just out. If this keeps happening every time you join with Delta, it is not random. Something specific is triggering it, and once you find what it is, the fix is usually quick.
What Error Code 268 Actually Means
Error 268 is Roblox kicking you for “unexpected client behavior.” Read that again. It is not Delta crashing. It is the Roblox server looking at your game client, deciding something about it looks wrong, and removing you from the session. With Delta injected, your client behaves differently from a normal player’s client, and some games notice.
The important part: 268 is a kick, not a ban. You can rejoin. But if it keeps happening in the same game, that game is telling you something, and ignoring it is how kicks turn into real account trouble.
Why You Keep Getting Kicked
There are five usual causes, and they are worth checking in this order:
- Your Delta build is behind the Roblox build. This is the number one cause by a mile. Roblox updates frequently, and when your Delta version no longer matches what the current Roblox client expects, the server spots the mismatch almost immediately. Players on v2.741 or older started seeing 268 spikes right after recent Roblox updates. Running v2.742 closes most of this gap.
- The script you are running got flagged. Some games run their own anti cheat on top of Roblox. The moment you execute a script with features that game watches for, like fly, speed, or ESP, the server kicks you. If 268 only happens in one specific game but you play fine everywhere else, the script is the problem, not Delta.
- Your key session glitched. When Delta’s key validation fails partway, the executor can end up in a half attached state. The client looks broken to the server, and you get kicked. This one is sneaky because everything looks normal on your screen until the kick lands.
- You are on a VPN or unstable network. Some VPN IP ranges are flagged, and heavy packet loss can make your client behave erratically enough to trigger the check. If 268 started the same day you turned on a VPN, that is your answer.
- The account already has strikes. Accounts with previous warnings get watched more closely. A fresh alt account playing the exact same way often sails through while the main keeps getting kicked.
How to Fix Error Code 268
Go through these in order. Stop when the kicks stop.
Step 1: Update Delta to v2.743 and update Roblox
Update both apps, not just one. Get the latest Delta APK from our Delta Executor APK download page and install it over your current install. Then update Roblox from the Play Store. Launch Delta first, let it fully load, then start Roblox. Most 268 cases die right here.
Step 2: Test with no script running
Join the game that keeps kicking you but do not execute any script. Just play normally through Delta for ten minutes. If no kick comes, your script was the trigger. Switch to a different script or drop the flagged features. Our script running guide covers how to test scripts safely one feature at a time.
Step 3: Revalidate your key from scratch
Open Delta and run the key process fresh. Do it in one sitting without switching apps halfway. A clean key session removes the half attached state that causes mystery kicks. Our Delta key guide walks through it step by step.
Step 4: Turn off the VPN
Disconnect any VPN and play on your normal connection for a session. If the kicks stop, your VPN’s IP range was the problem. Either play without it or switch to a server location closer to you.
Step 5: Try an alternate account
If one account gets kicked everywhere but a fresh alt plays fine, your main has strikes against it. Keep the main clean for a while and do your scripted sessions on the alt. This is standard practice anyway. Never risk an account you care about.
How to Keep 268 Away
- Update Delta the day a new version drops. The version gap is behind most kick waves, so staying current matters more than any other habit. Bookmark our v2.742 update post to catch new builds early.
- Do not run obvious scripts in games with active anti cheat. Competitive and popular games watch harder than small ones.
- Keep your key fresh. Revalidate before long sessions instead of mid session.
- Play scripted sessions on an alt account, always.
